Yoga has something for everyone, no matter where you are on your journey of life. We may first be drawn to yoga for different reasons, and through our practice, we develop a sense of awareness that helps us realize we can find in ourselves whatever it is that we may be seeking. Whether it's physical change, mental clarity, or a happy heart, all of these things are present within us, we just have to bring it forward. As we deepen our yoga practice, we discover ways to let go of the junk that doesn't serve us in order to make room for better things, like positive thoughts...and muscles :) Also, the simple reminder to breathe that yoga teaches us does wonders both on and off the mat.
I'm constantly seeking delicious, nutritious, good-for-the-body food made with a touch of creative flair, but I definitely enjoy some good ol' BBQ ribs or a nice piece of pork belly from time to time, and I can't forget about chocolate...yummmm
