Why I love Yoga

I love yoga because the practice teaches and reminds me of who and what I really am. It takes me back to my true nature, "tat tvam asi" that I am everything: one with the Universe, Brahman, the Ultimate Reality, and there is no-duality between the individual and the whole. When I do "yoga", whether it is postures (asana), breath work (pranayama), meditation (dhyan) or any other aspect, I immediately and easily fall into this place, my BEING...and this is why I gravitate towards yoga....my true nature.

Interesting fact

I love traveling (Fiji, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, Mexico...just for starters) and have lived abroad as well (India and Thailand). Favorite Food:Being of Indian descent, I am partial to Indian food. But I am a foodie and love to eat anything so long as it's veg.

Teaching Style

I practice and teach a multi-style of yoga-asana that includes traditional Hatha, Asthanga and Vinyasa. I also practice and teach meditation, Tantric breath work and alignment, Thai Yoga and Reiki healing.
